Global Gang - This site is published by Christian Aid and is packed with high-tech games, stories and news. You can also use it to talk to kids from around the world. For teachers, there is a comprehensive schools section offering practical classroom materials and assembly ideas.

Hanukkah - Festival of Lights - Exactly as the title says - a website about the Jewish festival of Hanukkhah. At first glance, quite a limited, research site; but the lack of external links does at least ensure that pupils do not "wander"!
